There is a large outdoor bath with adequate space for two to enjoy some romantic time while watching the sunset. In fact, our Yurt is specially designed as a peaceful retreat for couples and not for groups.

We value all our guests and leave no stone unturned to satisfy you when it comes to eating. Not only are there arrangements for a BBQ but you also order delicious items from nearby restaurants in the town. We also provide a fridge where you can store leftover food and drinks. If you want to enjoy some music or news while treating your taste buds, there is Google Home in the Yurt. The fast broadband will let you complete your urgent work (in any) on the laptop. You can also watch a romantic movie with your partner in the evening.
The Tardis Toilet with fantastic interior design will make your call of nature a glamping toilet experience. Our Yurt resembles a 5-star stay in Canterbury. There are a modern cassette toilet and a gravity-fed sink, just like a camping setting. Though our Yurt is warm and well-insulated, you can use the snuggly double heated blanket in the bed if you ever feel cold. There is also a camping stove burner to make your surroundings toasty. You can snuggle up on a rug outside the Yurt and watch the beautiful sky filled with stars.

Our Yurt retreat is situated in central Canterbury, 15 min walk from the centre, 10 min drive to the beach and a short walk into the countryside – perfect!

No matter what time of year, the little yurt retreat is a great choice, we personally love it in the colder months, snuggling up with the heated blanked, getting in a warm bath and cosying up to the warm log fire, then going to our AMAZING secret cinema snug to watch a virtually endless collection of the latest movies on demand – the perfect getaway! We even have a full coffee and tea station so you can make the perfect brew whenever you want 😉
When it comes to eating, there is a BBQ and, being in the centre of town, many takeaway options are available to you and can be delivered though Just Eat, Deliveroo, etc. You can also store a small amount of food and drink in the fridge provided. There is also a ‘utility room’ so you can cook on the hob, microwave food and more making the yurt practical as well as stunning.
We also offer a host of special packages to add that real ‘WOW’ factor, including our famous ‘romance package’, or there is our ‘cinema’ package, not to mention ‘birthday’ and ‘engagement’ packages for all those special occasions people come to our yurt for 😉
The yurt has mod cons too and includes Smart speaker for music, news and more. There is fast broadband too and space to work if you wish.
For your call of nature, we have created a “Tardis” toilet! With fantastic interior design, chandelier, full flushing toilet and running water so you can enjoy your business… in style on your camping trip 😉
When it comes to warmth, well the yurt is very warm and well insulated. However, if you get cold, the bed has a snuggly double heated blanket and when it starts to get really cold, there is a log burner, that soon makes the place very toasty even in the depths of winter.
Come and stay for a day, or a week, it is entirely up to you. Natalie and myself (Pete) are always on hand to assist with your needs, living on site, so there in a pinch. We look forward to meeting you and giving you a stay you will remember fondly forever!
You have your own private space. Your space includes an outdoor dining area for up to 4, the 5 meter yurt, outdoor bath and toilet with sink. There are full washing up facilitates for your dishes, a secret snug to enjoy and much more. The place is lit at night with Festoon nights for the ultimate glamping feeling! Indoor log stove and lots of candles to light around the bath outdoors.
Do please note you are staying in the centre of a city and although it is general very quiet, it is not a guarantee – there may be the usual city noises around us like neighbours and you can hear a train line but it is not very loud and guests never seem to mind, so please understand that if you want a very quiet stay, maybe a stay in the countryside is more what you are looking for, but hey, then you don’t get all the conveniences and well, a city break which is what staying in a beautiful city like Canterbury is all about right haha! 😉
We do allow friendly/well behaved dogs to visit however we do charge a little extra (£15) on top of the standard cleaning fee (£35) due to the increased cleaning needed after.
We obviously ask that any mess made by your dog is cleaned up.
If there are 4 adults, then there is an extra £60 fee, this is because we have found 4 adults always make far more mess than 3 adults, a family or couple. Thank you for understanding.
Please do look at our photos of outdoor bath hot tub experience to ensure it is what you are looking for. It fits 2 comfortably and is Uber romantic with candles under the stars. You run the super bath yourself and are free to use bubbles. Most guests spend hours here with a bottle of their favourite drink and is usually a massive highlight of their experience.
Note that we strictly do not allow you to bring other guests onto the property other than the agreed people stated in the booking. This means no friends are allowed to visit during the day or night other than those explicitly stated on the booking.
If you are going to have to anything that could qualify as a party you MUST discuss this prior to booking.
