The Little Yurt Retreat is a genuine Mongolian Yurt, ordered and fabricated directly from Mongolia itself. However, the interior is a yurt with a twist, which has been furnished with antiques and vintage pieces spanning hundreds of years to make a truly luxurious and fascinating feast for the eyes. Everything, where possible, has been upcycled and sourced second hand to make the retreat as environmentally sound as possible. Enjoy a great night’s sleep in its comfy double bed. Cold feet? Pop on the heated blanket before bed and snuggle down for the night or if it is really cold, there is a beautiful log burner to warm your cockles, sit, watch and listen to the fire crackling as you while away the evening.

If its chilly pop the little log burner on and cosy up around it with a glass of wine and relax. Wood, kindling and matches provided.

Tea and coffee facilities to suit a variety of tastes. Please let us know your milk preferences when booking. Don’t like Tea and Coffee? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered, enjoy hot chocolate, Horlicks or simply enjoy a nice cold bottle of water from the fridge.

We have a very practical utility room, with basic hob and a microwave (this is a camping experience after all!), there is a good-sized gas BBQ outside, or why not order in, who wants to cook anyway?! We are in a great location which means you have a broad selection of take-aways that can be delivered to you from Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats, offering pretty much every food choice you can think of!

Fancy a romantic meal in the yurt? There is a fold away table and chairs to use in the yurt. All crockery and cutlery are provided, as well as everything you need to use the BBQ or electric hob rings. We offer an outdoor wash-up area to keep crockery clean.

Towels are provided for yurt use (not beach), but feel free to bring your own. There are robes to use during your stay but please don’t take them home.

There are books and games to enjoy as well as a Google Home to play music so please feel free to bring a laptop or iPad. The Google Home also turns the small bedside lamps on. Although we have a no candle policy in the yurt there are battery operated candles to use to set the mood.

There is Wi-Fi and plug sockets for charging electronic devices. A small ironing board, iron, hairdryer and hair straighteners are all provided for use during your stay.

The toilet is located outside to the left of the yurt. There are hand/face washing facilities; again towels are provided.
